Tennis elbow, medically known as lateral epicondylalgia, is a condition that causes pain on the outside of the elbow, where the forearm muscles attach to the bony prominence (lateral epicondyle). It occurs due to overuse or repetitive movements of the wrist and forearm, rather than a single injury.
